HALL OF FAME BACKGROUND

In conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of the national governing body, the CCAA Hall of Fame was established with builder, coach, and player categories. The first inductions occurred in the spring of 2014.

As of now, there is no team category to acknowledge national champions who have won consecutive championships, triumphed at international tournaments and/or defeated eventual U Sports champions. There is also no catch-all category to recognize those whose achievements span more than one existing category or do not fit into any of the existing categories.

HALL OF FAME BUILDERS (INDUCTED)

Of the four inductees, three from the inaugural class coached hockey teams to conference titles, but never coached a team at nationals. 2019 inductee Allan Ferchuk coached the Red Deer College Kings to three CCAA National Hockey Championships.
